Welcome!

Sucker Punch Productions

A page just for you.

I’ve gone through and compiled some of my best work that relates to game Sound Design. Only those with this specific link can view this page. Once you’re done on this page, feel free to check out my other work.

GhostWire: Tokyo Trailer (Redesign)

(2020)

For this redesign, my goal was to create a realistic environment while also matching the energy of the trailer as it progresses. I’m especially proud with some of the details I was able to get such as the sounds of the escalator and the glitches on the logo at the end. This was done just for fun in a weekend, and I plan to eventually come back to score it.

Destination Imagination

(2018)

This was part of a larger experience set up like a Disney ride that ended with a VR section. One other person and I were responsible for all the sound in just one day, so I designed everything relating to the rocket ship itself, including mechanical sounds and most background noises. This was my first experience implementing with Unreal Engine and the final mix was played in 5.1 surround sound. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to see people reacting to my sounds as they enjoyed the ride.

The Ring (Clip) (Redesign)

(2019)

In my application and cover letter, I mentioned the TV sounds in this clip as being my favorite sound I’ve ever designed. The sounds of the TV in this clip were inspired by a surreal experience while watching this film one time with friends. We were using a bluetooth speaker and there was a glitch that caused all sounds over a certain volume to create extremely harsh digital distortion. It was an incredibly jarring sound but often times fit perfectly with the theme of the film. While designing the sound of the TV in this clip, I was inspired by this experience to give the viewer the same uncomfortable feeling that we felt.

Thank you

As a Seattle native who grew up playing inFAMOUS, having the opportunity to work at Sucker Punch has been a dream of mine for over 10 years. I hope this extension of my cover letter helped make your applicant search a little easier.
